Bath Types
Today's baths are a lot different to those of the past in terms of the many choices we have when choosing a new bath. There are all kinds of options to choose from here to suit all budgets, design and colour preferences and bathroom sizes. The most popular types of baths purchased at the moment include:
- Rectangular baths - these baths are standard rectangular designs and come in all sizes and colours.
- Corner baths - corners baths are designed kind of like a triangle to sit in a corner of the room and usually come with a curved front.
- Circular baths - these baths are designed as a circle.
- Shower baths - shower baths tend to be standard rectangular styles with a curved bulge that sticks out at one end to accommodate anyone who wants to take a shower.
- Sunken baths - sunken baths are designed to sit in the floor of the room flush with the floor level. These baths come in all shapes and sizes.
- Free-standing baths - these baths are not boxed into a bathroom against a wall but can stand anywhere in the room.
- Whirlpool baths - whirlpool baths use jets and sprays to turn a regular bath into a spa like experience. This kind of technology can be fitted into just about any kind of bath.
Baths can be made from all kinds of material nowadays although many will be made from ceramics, acrylics or even from cast iron.
